Genki Sano is Co-founder and CTO of Telexistence, an AI robotics company deploying retail robotics solutions for real-world store operations in Japan. The company develops and operates systems for applications such as drink restocking, and is building next-generation robotics systems for convenience stores and other retail environments. Genki leads development across the full robotics stack, from hardware and control to autonomy software. His recent focus is on combining teleoperation, automation, and robotics foundation models, including Vision-Language-Action systems, to deliver practical autonomy for real-world deployment.
