It has been estimated that for robotics companies bringing new products to market, 60-80% of costs are directly related to supply chain activities. Having an efficient supply chain setup, therefore, is a significant success factor for startup, scale up and mature robotics companies.

In this session, Søren G. Aarhus, Business Developer for Odense Robotics, the collective term for the Odense, Denmark high-tech ’ecosystem’ created by robot and automation companies (120+), educational institutes, research facilities, and investment centers, will describe how the establishment of competitive supply chains can support innovation and boost the competitiveness of companies of all types. How the Odense Robotics cluster organization facilitates the establishment of competitive supply chains in robotics companies will be highlighted to illustrate salient points.
