Alex Cope

Alex Cope is the Co-founder and CTO of Opteran Technologies, a developer of a small, lightweight, and ultra-low power silicon-based approach to autonomy that is kick starting the 3rd wave of AI by re-engineering the algorithms that enable insects to perceive, act and understand the world, into software that enables autonomy at extremely low SWaP. Cope has spent over a decade researching the function of brains, utilizing skills developed while studying physics at the University of Cambridge, and is driven by a vision of a world transformed by making flexible and robust autonomy solutions that can operate anywhere.
