Andrea Okerholm Huttlin is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Collaborative Robotics, where she leads localization software for Proxie, Cobot’s highly adaptable, collaborative material handling robot. Prior to Cobot, she worked at iRobot for nearly 20 years designing and writing SLAM, behavior, and embedded software for millions of Roomba, Scooba, and Terra consumer robots. Andrea’s long career in practical robotics gives her a unique perspective on robotic localization and navigation in demanding real-world environments. Andrea is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, holding BS and MS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and she holds 11 patents.
