President & CEO | Harmonic Drive
Doug Olson is the President and CEO of Harmonic Drive LLC. Joining the Harmonic Drive group of companies in 1991 as an application engineer, Doug has acquired a broad range of in-depth experience into the design of servo actuators and gear systems for robots and factory automation equipment. Doug has served as COO, CMO, Executive VP and in 2009 was appointed President and CEO.
Prior to Joining Harmonic Drive, Doug founded two successful startup companies which manufactured servomechanisms and electronics for the defense industry. Previously he served as production manager for an aircraft instrument and defense electronics manufacturer. Through these years, his work has been enabled through the unwavering support from his amazing wife Katherine. Doug holds a BS from Long Island University and an MBA from Dowling College.
