Jack Schorsch is the Founder & CEO of IMSystems, and the inventor of the Archimedes Drive, a new high-performance speed reducer for robotic applications. Prior to founding IMSystems, Schorsch was a research scientist at the Technical University of Delft in The Netherlands, where he obtained his PhD. Before coming to Delft, he was the research manager at the Center for Bionic Medicine at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where he assisted with the development of an advanced cybernetic prosthesis as part of the DARPA RP 2009 program. Over the course of his career, Schorsch has published numerous scientific papers & patents, primarily in the fields of robotics, cybernetics, & human machine interaction.
