Tobias Luksch

Tobias Luksch works as a Manager of R&D for robotics within the healthcare business unit at ITK Engineering GmbH, a development partner offering engineering solutions with a focus on standards-compliant software and systems development. As part of his role, he is coordinating research and development efforts in the field of robotics, e.g., publicly funded projects, internal research projects, or cooperations with universities. Before joining ITK, Luksch studied computer science, followed by a Ph.D. on human-like control of dynamically walking bipedal robots. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Honda Research Institute, focusing on intelligent motion control of complex robotic systems and robust manipulation capabilities.
