Corey Ryan

Director of Medical Robotics | KUKA

Corey Ryan is the Director of Medical Robotics at KUKA Robotics. He joined KUKA in 2009 and has been responsible for all medical customer relationships for KUKA and leads the strategic growth objectives for KUKA Robotics’ healthcare industry for all of North America. Corey manages a small team and acts as the expert in collaborative robotics.

Before joining KUKA, Corey spent 8 years with GE Healthcare in various sales and marketing roles. Corey holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering Technology from Lake Superior State University and an MBA for Science and Technology from Queen’s University in Canada. Most recently, he completed the AI for Leaders certificate program from the University of Texas Austin in 2022 and was listed in the “Who’s Who” for 2023 by Marquis.

In this presentation, we will discuss the key aspects of “make vs. buy” from the technology, financial and manpower perspectives and try to provide guidance that will help point any new project team (whether in a startup or established company) with right tools to make an informed decision and improved project plan.
