As Vice President, R&D, Robotics, Dustin Vaughan is responsible for the strategic direction of Asensus’ global engineering and development staff for robotic capital systems across multiple disciplines. Before joining Asensus, he held roles in various R&D teams primarily focused on the medical device space. With 15 years of experience in engineering and product development, Vaughan has served in lead capacities with Teleflex Medical, LORD Corporation, and RFMEDS. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Concentration as well as two bachelor of science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University
