Matthew Sefati is the CEO of Cobionix, a clinical stage robotics technology startup on a mission to transform healthcare delivery and tackle the multi trillion dollar labor shortage problem facing healthcare providers. Our solution is a collaborative robotics platform called CODI, an in-house developed AI-powered plug and play collaborative robot designed to assist clinicians to do more with less. The startup is led by a management team with multiple exits that have generated over half a billion in enterprise value, with over 40 years of experience in building AI and robotic solutions. Cobionix is conducting pilot programs with hospital networks to evaluate robot-assisted sonography as its first robot-as-a-service indication in diagnostics with world-renowned Key Opinion Leaders, to help providers perform more procedures and claim back over $20B lost in topline revenue for healthcare facilities in the U.S. alone.
Matthew has spent over a decade commercializing medical devices and AI/IoT devices for in-patient facilities. Most recently, he co-founded Curiato (2016), a venture-backed smart-bed that non-invasively monitors for adverse events for hospitals (B2B SaaS 510(k); numerous indications). In addition, Matthew Sefati has also led commercialization and go-to-market launches of numerous hospital AI-IoT medtech solutions for startups.
