Choi Sung-hyuk currently serves as a planning director at the Global Robot Cluster (RGC) and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Robot Enterprise Association (REPA) Secretariat, where he is responsible for promoting the profitability of member companies and finding new businesses and policy proposals that can contribute to robot industry development. During his tenure at REPA, he led international robotics collaboration, and in particular, the creation of a collaborative platform among clusters, a business group of regional robotic companies around the globe. In addition, Choi also works as CTO at Korea R&D Center (Vintech Korea Research Center) of Vingroup , Vietnam’s largest private company. Previously, he worked as a senior engineer in the development of Application Specific IC (ASIC) and System-On-Chip (SOC) for telecommunication and control at Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute (ETRI), one of major Korea National Research Institutes. Choi holds a bachelor’s degree and PhD in electronics from the University of Kyungbuk National University
